Every EazzyWalls design is printed to order, and you choose the material it is printed on. The right choice depends on three things: whether you need to remove it later, how much traffic the wall gets, and how textured the wall is. This page explains each option so you can decide with confidence.
We offer four standard materials in two families — removable peel and stick for DIY and rental projects, and paste-installed Traditional Type II for permanent and commercial installations. All four are printed with GREENGUARD Gold certified inks.
Removable Peel and Stick Wallpaper
Self-adhesive materials that install without glue, paste or water. Designed to come off cleanly, which makes them the practical choice for renters, kids' rooms and anyone who likes to change things.
Smooth Vinyl Peel & Stick
A flat, semi-gloss surface that shows print detail sharply. The smoothest of our materials, so fine linework and photographic murals read crisply.
- Best on: smooth, fully cured painted walls
- Not for: textured, freshly painted or damaged walls
- Install: peel and stick, repositionable while you work
- Removal: peels away cleanly, no residue
- Lifespan: typically 3–5 years on a smooth surface
Canvas Peel & Stick
A matte woven texture with more depth than smooth vinyl. The texture softens light, which suits large areas and rooms with strong downlighting. The same easy install, with a finish closer to traditional wallcovering.
- Best on: smooth walls, accent walls, furniture fronts
- Not for: rough or uneven walls, where the texture cannot sit flat
- Install: peel and stick, repositionable while you work
- Removal: peels away cleanly, no residue
- Lifespan: typically 3–5 years on a smooth surface

Traditional Type II Wallpaper
Commercial-grade, non-woven materials installed with paste. Built to last in high-traffic settings — hotels, restaurants, offices, healthcare and high-rise residential — and rated Class A / Class 1 for fire spread (ASTM E84). Unlike peel and stick, Type II tolerates lightly textured walls.
Traditional Canvas Type II
A matte canvas weave with visible texture and no sheen. The standard choice for hospitality and corporate interiors, and for homes where the wallcovering is meant to stay put.
- Best on: smooth or lightly textured walls, high-traffic areas
- Install: paste-applied with heavy-duty adhesive for non-woven wallcoverings
- Cleaning: water-resistant, washable with mild soap and water
- Removal: strippable in large sections; walls may need minor touch-ups
- Lifespan: a permanent installation, built for years of use
Faux Grasscloth Type II
The look of natural grasscloth with the durability of a printed commercial substrate. Natural grasscloth stains easily and cannot be wiped, which rules it out of most commercial spaces — this gives you the texture without that limitation.
- Best on: feature walls, dining rooms, hotel corridors, offices
- Install: paste-applied with heavy-duty adhesive for non-woven wallcoverings
- Cleaning: water-resistant, washable with mild soap and water
- Removal: strippable in large sections; walls may need minor touch-ups
- Lifespan: a permanent installation, built for years of use

Materials look and feel different in your own light. A sample lets you compare texture and see how the colors sit against your furniture and flooring before you order a full project. Every design is available as a sample in your chosen material, printed on the same press as a full order. Read more about samples.
Colors can vary slightly between production batches, including between a sample and a later order, so order everything you need for a project at once.
